Ohio State’s team, formed of Mark Varner (MAE), Isaac Flemming (MAE), Jerry Huang (ISE), and Morgan Bernard (ISE), created a solution for tired drivers. They created a device for on-the-go coffee brewing. Their extensive report included information about the design integration and innovation, social and environmental impact, and a cost-benefit analysis all simulating a realistic product from beginning production to end consumer. For their award of honorable mention the team will receive a certificate, recognition of the report on the official SME national website, and the opportunity to attend the SME national conference to receive their certificates on stage.
