31 Ohio State IIE students and ISE faculty member, Aimee Ulstad, recently attended the Great Lakes Regional Conference at Wayne State University in Detroit. At the president’s meeting, a vote was held for the university that will be hosting the 2018 regional conference. It was a unanimous decision to have Ohio State host. Vanessa Serrano, Georgia Lindner and Gunnar Smyth have already been working with ISE alum, Bobby Smyth, on planning the conference.
Three members competed in the Shark Tank competition at the recent conference. Brett Blackwell, Christina Steiner and Lex Clark competed and Christina placed third overall. The chapter also won second overall in the card sorting competition with the team composed of Rachel Nash and Katie David.
