ISE Students Direct, Edit and Star in Video Entry for IIE Annual Video Contest

Posted:

The IIE Student Chapter at OSU has created a video entry for the national IIE YouTube Video Contest to promote industrial engineering to high school students, teachers and college counselors. The goal is to inspire young students to consider IE as a profession.

ISE student, Daniel Chang, directed and edited the video and there was participation from both alumni and current IIE members. The group’s goal was to create a “Justin Bieber themed parody music video, while also incorporating key six sigma principles”, said Chang. He goes on to say “The video begins with a disastrous process, where Aaron Steinberg applies his knowledge and wisdom in order to streamline the process by the end of the video.” Aaron Steinberg handled the lyrics and vocals while Vanessa Serrano made great contributions to their choreography. It was a group effort and other ISE students who participated include Emily Rumford, Georgia Lindner, John Cooper, Maria Pandolfi, Rachel Czapp, Christina Steiner, Ryan Lawler, Sarah Colasanti, and Derek Sasthav.
