ISE Student Awarded Athletic Scholarship

Joe Burger, an ISE student and football player set to graduate in December, was awarded a full athletic scholarship in January. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer announced the scholarship in front of the team and recognized Joe as “among the most respected players on the team”.

Joe Burger is a fourth year ISE student in the Management Systems & Operations Research track. He is from Cincinnati where he attended LaSalle High School. Joe is a three time Academic All Big-Ten, three time OSU scholar-athlete and three time letter winner and appeared in 35 games including every game the past two seasons. He will be interning with Chase Bank as part of their Leadership Development Program in the Risk Management Track.
