Dan Korda is the President of Lukjan Metal Products, a leading US-based manufacturer of HVAC systems across forty states. After graduating from OSU with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Korda started his career in engineering management at AT&T in New York City. After earning an MBA from Harvard University, Korda became VP of Manufacturing for Discovery Systems, an early pioneer in the new CD-ROM and CD-Audio optical disc market, where he developed the organization and systems to produce products incorporating innovative new technologies. In 1990, Korda acquired Lukjan Metal Products, a small Ohio-based company, growing it to become the second largest manufacturer in the HVAC industry. Korda is also president of Alan Manufacturing, producing air quality and distribution components that are distributed throughout the world. Building Lukjan Metal Products from a single operation into a large, national business, Korda is also past president of ADI, Air Distribution Institute and has earned a reputation as a leader in the HVAC industry.

Doris Korda is the CEO of Korda Institute for Teaching, transforming how teachers teach and students learn in K12 schools from Ohio to Kazakhstan. After graduating from OSU with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Korda began her career as a systems engineer-turned-tech entrepreneur, turning a small network business into a $1B publicly traded company. Korda then became an educator, developing new methods to redesign school systems. Korda developed a globally recognized entrepreneurial studies program, designed the Mastery School of Hawken’s curriculum and teaching methods, and is the co-originator of the Mastery Transcript Consortium, an initiative to change the high school transcript to reflect the unique skills, strengths, and interests of each learner. Korda Institute’s methods have been adopted by hundreds of schools, empowering thousands of students in urban and rural districts around the world. Korda has an MA from Columbia University, and her work has been featured in educational journals and news outlets such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and The Huffington Post.
